HOW Y'ALL DOIN?
I'm Martha, I'm 19, and I'm a lover of many things. I enjoy animation, especially Disney, Don Bluth, and Dreamworks. I love J and Kpop, as well as anime and Harajuku fashion. Going to the movie theater always excites me, as does going to the theatre (note the difference in spelling) to see a play, musical, or dance concert. I've started up my own theatre company to help young performers grow and put a spotlight on some alternative theatre methods, as well as traditional ones. We'll see how that goes. I'm currently pursuing an acting degree at Millikin University, and it's a challenge every day! Amongst all this craziness, I like to find the time to curl up with a good book. Thanks for stopping by! :D

Wheels of a Dream (from Ragtime)
Music by Stephen Flaherty
Lyrics by Lynn Ahrens
Performed by Brian Stokes Mitchell and Audra McDonald

Okay, like, I knoooow. “Wheels of a Dream,” really?! Hear me out! Audra’s riff on “Our son will riiiiide” at the end of the number is one of my favorite pieces of musical theatre singing ever. It sits in that great, husky chest voice place that only black women have, and she relishes every moment she spends in it. I always rewind that part and listen to it over and over.

^YES.

MY JAM.

For the people who think all K-pop boys look like a bunch of girls. If nothing else, this proves that they look like a bunch of girls with awesome abs.

A-HEM.

And these are only a handful of the images that I have saved.

You’re welcome.

MERCY.
